Mirabella Pendragon is the Potions professor at Marlowe's Thaumaturgical Academy. She is the descendent of King Arthur through his illigitimate son, Mordred. Mordred's daughter was a very gifted Muggle-born witch who was taken and trained by the wizard Merlin. She is known to be the subject of Duncan Sheppley's advances.
